WildHive Studio’s Brand Design Process

Overview:

At WildHive, I specialize in branding, packaging, and web design for product-based business owners looking for a timeless, minimal, and strategic approach. I help my clients stand out in their over-crowded markets, connect deeply with their customer base, and increase conversions.

If you're feeling stagnant in your business or unaligned with your brand's visuals, let's talk.

Often times, my clients come to me looking to confidently step away from DIY and towards a cohesive, professionally designed aesthetic that grabs the attention and trust of their audience.

After all, if you're a brand looking to be in a major retailer one day, you need to be showing up with the level of fine-tuned professionalism as brands they currently sell.

The best part is, I make the process easy so you can focus on running your business while I take care of refreshing your visuals.

Here’s how the Strategic Brand Design Process works:

00 // Strategy Call

After you sign your contract + pay your first installment, I'll send you a  link where you can schedule our strategy workshop call. This research phase is crucial to the success of the project. Together we'll outline your target audience, competitor landscape, brand traits, and positioning.

01 // Creative Direction

I'll outline your project goals, ways to connect with your audience, and visual inspiration to guide us through the design process in your Strategic Creative Direction Guide. This step will also include 2-3 mood boards to showcase the visual direction options. This step helps us make sure we're on the same page before I start sketching logo ideas.

02 // First Concepts

I'll present 2-3 of my strongest concepts for the logo suite, each one highlighting a different aspect of your strategy. From here, we'll narrow it down to 1 concept that you envision connecting the most with your audience.

03 // Refinement

At this stage, I'll present refined versions of the concept that you chose and dive deeper to explore color and typography. This is where we'll really try to envision how each concept would work on your products, website, packaging, etc. to figure out which one makes the strongest impact. If we still need to make refinements, we can. Otherwise, we'll select the final direction to move forward with.

04 // Brand Guide

With the visual identity complete and tested, I’ll put everything together in a detailed guide on how to use your brand consistently, intentionally, and strategically. This serves as a great tool to pass on to your marketing team to make sure your brand continues to be represented in a cohesive way.

Ready to grab the attention and trust of your audience? I’ve got you covered.
